Fr. Hand attended a four year college in Minneapolis, Minnesota in the mid 60's and went to seminary in Chicago in the late 60's. Ordained in 1967, his first ministerial assignment was to a church in North Dakota. Never to return to 45 to 60 below zero temperatures, he's made his home in Arizona for the past several years. He has functioned in a broad spectrum of roles, notably; early in his ministry he was an assistant pastor and youth director. He has since pastured full time in churches in North and South Dakota , Wisconsin , Michigan . On the west coast, Redlands , Loma Linda and Ontario California . This is during the span of thirty years from 1965 – 1995. In the mid 90's he obediently served operating a CRISIS CENTER for the homeless and displaced persons in Tucson – St Patrick's United Episcopal Church.

Nearing retirement, he has woven a personal ministry under the authority of CHRIST and the Church for almost forty years which has made him imminently qualified for performing Joyous Weddings, Baptism and Memorial services with distinction as he did as Pastor, Shepherd and Care Giver to the hearts and souls of men and women both rich and poor.
