EVANGELICAL EPISCOPAL THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY

Evangelical Episcopal Theological Seminary is the ecclesiastically sanctioned educational institution of the Province of St. Peter of the Communion of Evangelical Episcopal Churches.

The primary purpose of this seminary is to prepare persons for Holy Orders within the Church of Jesus Christ. Increasingly persons that are mature adults or professionals are seeking to follow after the Lord's call into ordained ministry. Therefore, we have felt that it is imperative to design educational programs that can meet the needs of students within the 21st century.

Models of the recent past almost exclusively centered upon the common classroom environment While continuing to use this model we also seek to make available to those persons who are unable to attend a classroom setting a high quality educational experiences by utilizing mentors and distance learning. By combining life experience credit, low cost and high quality distance learning courses with periodic retreats, intensive seminars and mentors we are able to provide Bachelor through Doctoral degrees for persons that were previously unable to complete their educational goals.
All interested persons should contact the President of the School, Archbishop Dr. Russ McClanahan, for further information on programs, cost, and scholarship opportunities
